From July 2 through July 11, our high school youth group will be on an annual mission trip to our sister church, Messiah, Wounded Knee in South Dakota to support our brothers and sisters in Christ. The newly ordained the Rev. Maggie Paul will begin her ministry at St. Helena’s on Sunday, July 5. We will welcome Maggie with "Donuts with the Deacon" during the 10:00 hour in the Parish Hall. To prepare for Maggie's arrival, please start wearing name tags! By the time Maggie arrives, we'll be ready to help her get to know each one of us.

Summer Shorts: Conversations about Film & Faith
This summer, you are invited to join your St. Helena’s church family for three Wednesday evening gatherings centered around story, reflection, and conversation. Using short films and selected TV clips, we will explore themes of grace, courage, community, hope, and what it means to live faithfully in everyday life. There is no homework and no prior knowledge is required. Just come as you are!  These fun summer gatherings are for people at every stage of faith and curiosity - whether you have been part of the church for decades or are simply looking for a meaningful conversation and a welcoming space to reflect. Come for one session or all three. Invite a friend and join us for Summer Shorts (in your best summer shorts)!

Regular Holy Eucharist is offered at Morningside Ministries at Menger Springs every third Wednesday of the month at 2:30 p.m. One of St. Helena’s clergy leads a service of Holy Eucharist for the residents of Menger Springs in the chapel located on premises.

Our Fine Arts Academy is July 20th - 24th, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 pm. with classes for rising 1st graders - rising 8th graders. This is a time for recognizing God as the master creator and celebrating that because we are made in His image, we are made to be creators, as well! We will spend time discussing the Bible and our relationship to God as we explore different mediums and discover the creative talents we all have within.
