Students of all ages - and teachers! - are invited to bring their backpacks and school bags to St. Helena's on Sunday, August 10, during the 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services for our Blessing of the Backpacks. We will place each backpack and bag at the altar, and the students and teachers will receive a blessing before the new school year begins. Blessing tags will be handed out to all. St. Helena's Episcopal School students are invited to attend the Blessing of the Backpacks event at the 9:00 a.m. service on Sunday, August 10. Following the service, students and their families can proceed to the classrooms for Meet the Teacher! St. Helena's Episcopal School teachers and staff will be present this Sunday morning to welcome their new students (and receive hugs from former students).
